Introduction

Velocits is a TypeScript framework for server-rendered sites. It ships a JSX runtime, a serializer that writes directly to a sink, a file-based router, streaming, static generation and a CLI.The runtime depends on nothing outside the Node standard library. Not on React, not on a router package, not on a date library. Everything it needs is in Node.

It is not a client framework. There is no hydration pass, because there is no client runtime to hydrate with. Pages are HTML.It is not a meta-framework that hides its own machinery. The route table is a file you can read. The serializer is a file you can read. When something is slow you can find out why.

Node 20 or newer, and TypeScript 7. The TypeScript 7 compiler is used through its command line and through rolldown; this repository does not plan work that assumes a programmatic compiler API.
